District9 - Out now on Minar Records
Formerly known as "Edan" and "Edan & Hope" during his DJing collaborations with a longtime friend in the 1990s and early 2000s, Edan's profound passion for music originates from his childhood, heavily influenced by his parents' love for the art form. His musical journey began with the violin in elementary school, followed by the saxophone and bass guitar during his middle and high school years, naturally progressing into DJing and music production. Immersed in the vibrant East Coast underground rave scene of the early nineties, Edan developed exceptional mixing (skills and an unwavering devotion to music, performing at prominent clubs and events in Washington, DC, and beyond. His keen track selection and ability to seamlessly blend house and techno earned him recognition from URB Magazine in 2001, where he was named the National Runner-Up in their mixtape category. Today, Edan continues to release compelling music on esteemed underground house and techno labels, cementing his reputation within the industry.
